Earlier this year the Omaha Parrot Head Club teamed up with Carnival Cruise Line for the second annual "Parrot Head's From Somewhere Other Than Here" trip. The cruise was fantastic!
We left out of Miami, went to Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, had a fun day at sea and then back to Miami for Valentine's Day.
It was publicized in trade magazines that the Margaritaville in Grand Turk had the 'most elaborate pool bar in the Caribbean'. After going there, it is the most elaborate!
We had our own entertainer, Capt. Josh who performed for us in Miami before we left and then performed multiple times on the ship and at Grand Turk Margaritaville.

Next year will be even better: Announcing the third annual "Parrot Head's From Somewhere Other Than Here" trip. The Omaha Parrot Head Club has again partnered with Carnival Cruise Lines.
Every Island this year has a Margaritaville!

As with all Omaha Nebraska Parrot Head events, this cruise will benefit a charity. The 2008 and 2009 cruise's raised over $8,300 for MDA.
For each cabin sold, $100 will be split between American Cancer Society and The Spirit of Courage!
